I had an opportunity to be a part of Naturalist training with The Naturalist School organised by Indiahikes. It was a 3 month course where we leaned about different natural elements, birds, butterflies, animals, trees, etc. It gave a different prospective towards the nature. we leaned about the importance of each natural elements to keep our planet alive. We learned how to connect people with nature and how to become responsible citizens and take care of our planet. This program also focused on how to facilitate Nature Walk. This program started with a 5 day training with from The Naturalist School facilitators and then followed by on ground training for 3 months, followed by 2nd round of training by The Naturalist School and we had to go through an exam to qualify as a certified Naturalist. The Nature Guiding course really helped me connect with Nature and gave me some really valuable tools that I can use in every walk of life. Firstly it made each one of us to fall in love with the nature. Gave us different lens to see the natural world around us along with the tools to learn and explore by ourselfs.
