Environmental education (EE) is a process that helps individuals, communities, and organizations learn more about the environment, and develop skills and understanding about how to address global challenges. It has the power to transform lives and society. K-12 Educators are key contributors in their ability to exponentially magnify reach and impact with a critical segment of demography - Children. Our certified Nature Educator programme is a step towards providing them the skills, materials & tools to do this effectively.

The main aim of the course is to provide essential knowledge of ecotourism and its allied services, like nature trails, eco-tours, interpretation and forest experiences for forest and tribal community youth. These ecopreneurs are then mentored to build visitor experiences with opportunities to experience the local culture, cuisine, & community thereby contributing to conservation in these areas.

‘Naturalists Institute’ is a collaborative venture with the State Forest Departments to offer in-service training, workshops & specialist training for various levels of PA staff to develop skills in Natural history, Wildlife & Nature interpretation, Guiding and management of visitor experiences in eco-tourism zones.
