The Naturalist School a trademark organisation under Fig Tree Naturalist Foundation (FTNF).
FTNF is registered under the ministry of Corporate Affairs as a non-profit, Section 8 company.
We facilitate nature education with the aim to bridge the skill gap for trained nature guides, interpreters, educators & naturalists – the key stakeholders in conservation via certified courses that encourage ecotourism, capacity building and entrepreneurship.
How your Donation will be utilised
Your donation will help in sponsoring youth in developing sections to avail training that can help build their livelihood. Which in turn will build the next generation of ambassadors for climate change and ecological conservation. One fifth of the donations might be utilised towards administrative purposes to conduct training programs.
Legal Status and Tax Exemption details
FTNF is a section-8 company and is registered as a Non-Profit organisation under the Indian Income Tax Act. All donations to Fig Tree Naturalist Foundation are eligible for exemption under section 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961 for Indian citizens.
Usage of Information
Your personal information will be used by Fig Tree Naturalist Foundation (FTNF) for internal purposes only including the following:
- Sending you emails, surveys, brochures, Annual Report, regular updates on the utilisation of donations by FTNF and other updates.
- Processing your donations and for your receipt of donations made by you to FTNF.
- Maintaining an internal confidential database of all the Personal Information collected from visitors to the Site.
Refund Policy
Fig Tree Naturalist Foundation does not provide refunds for online donations, and therefore does not have a refund policy.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy is applicable only for donations through ECS, You can choose to withdraw the ECS mandate at any time, but we must receive the request for cancellation at least 45 working days prior to the due date.
Your support is greatly appreciated and will assist us in our work to facilitate more change agents and ambassadors for climate conservation.
Where the money goes
We strive to channel most of our resources to field science and conservation programs, keeping organisational overheads minimal. Most of FTNF funds raised so far have been utilised for our field activities, the remainder being used to provide administrative, technology and library support to programmes.
